  2. You need 1 oz. of ranch dressing packet (powder).
  3. You need 1 oz. of onion soup envelope (powder).
  4. Prepare 1 stick of (or quarter lb.) of butter.
  5. Prepare 16 oz. of jar of pepperoncini, including apx. 2 TBS. of the juice from the jar.

Sprinkle the ranch and au jus mixes over the top of the roast. Add the butter and pepperoncini peppers. Place chuck roast in slow cooker. For easy clean-up, use a crockpot liner.
