Leftover pasta. Always a family favorite, this classic dish of quickly sauteed beef and onion in a creamy mushroom sauce is perfect over hot cooked noodles. Garnish with fresh parsley for a colorful table presence and serve with a family favorite green vegetable. Leftover filled pastas like ravioli and tortellini do great baked in a casserole.
Stir in leftover pasta and Parmesan. Melt butter or heat oil in a nonstick pan. My favourite ways of using up leftover pasta are to make a frittata, use them in a south-east Asian-style stir-fry or to bake the pasta (particularly tube-shaped pasta such as penne or rigatoni),. Bake a Pasta Pie If you're up for a small project, consider baking your pasta into a pie. The ingredients list is also short, including only the already sauced pasta, two eggs, some breadcrumbs, and olive oil to cook them.

Perhaps my favorite use of leftover pasta is to turn it into a casserole by layering the pasta in a casserole dish with sauce and leftover vegetables and seasonings and cheese, then baking the whole thing in the oven until it transforms into a delicious casserole that can easily be served in slices. Leftover pasta is great to use to turn into an an easy side dish to serve with another dinner and these sides can be made in no time at all. Parmesan pasta is one of my favorite side dish and we make it all the time with leftover pasta. Using Leftover Pasta If the recipe calls for cool or cold pasta, such as in a casserole, pasta salad, or pasta frittata, use the pasta straight from the refrigerator.
