  5. You need 1 of a little vsnallia essence if you so wish but i prefer to not use it as it can make the cream to sweet..
  6. It's 1 of a little orange essence if you so wish....leave out vanallia if using orange.

With the mixer on low speed, slowly add in the salt and powdered sugar, and continue beating until the sugar is fully incorporated. Add in vanilla and cream or milk and mix on low speed until incorporated. Add the confectioner's sugar in two or three additions, mixing on low speed until everything is combined. Directions Combine all the ingredients in large mixing bowl and mix at slow speed until smooth.

  1. cream butter and sugar until it makes a nice texture and try for taste if you wish..
  2. if you so wish you can add a little milk for a softer cream and a little vanilla essence for sweetness and taste if you so wish. I leave vanilla out as I find it too sweet..
  3. if you find this a little buttery you can always add a little more sugar or essence etc. if you do add cocoa or coffee etc. then add it dry and mix throughly..
  4. the photo shows a very nice chocolate buttercream after I added some dry cocoa powder and mixed in. a little orange essence.
  5. do not add the chocolate orange if you want just plain vanilla.
