Ma'amoul means "stuffed" in Arabic, and these cookies can be stuffed with a number of different fillings. Date filling is traditional for celebrating Eid, but walnuts (flavored either with orange blossom syrup or cinnamon) and pistachios (flavored with rose water and orange blossom water) are also common. Flatten your dough ball and place the date ball within. If you have a mold, place inside and then close the dough around the date paste ball. Ingredients: Dates, wheat flour, butter oil, sugar, glucose, salt.
